Hi Annick,
This is a departure from the norm! What an amazing landscape, I love the layers you've captured here, literary from the land to the sky and clouds, wonderful colours and tones, excellent d.o.f, I would never thought of doing a shot like this with a 400mm 2.8, food for thought, really nice work,
t.f.s Rick :)

Hi Annick,
You make me want to get in my car and go there right now!!!
Unfortunately I am on standby this weekend.
Landscapes are usually taken with a fairly wide angle lens so this gives a different perspective and shows how wide open the spaces really are. I like the layers that are repeated in the clouds. Well seen. At what focal length was the image taken?

Hi Annick
This is not the view the average European expects of Africa - yet as you say there are many days like this. Also as much of Africa is plateau it is much cooler than one would expect - one of the descritions of Africa is 'a cool continent with sun'.
You really capture the scale of the landscape here.

Hi Annick
This is really simple, but absolutely beautiful!
There are about 9 different layers here and each of them have their own charm and add to the perspective of this shot. A truly unique view of Kruger and i simply love such experiments.
Further more, to take a landscape shot with a 400mm lens is something else :))
Really nice my friend; i appreciate both the shot and the idea behind it.
Bravo and TFS

Hoi Annick,
Groeten,
Niek

Hi Annic,
great to see a landscape from you! The strong horizontal elements to this work really well. An amazing vast open space...
