[Note Guidelines] Photographer's Note
Most vultures have a bald head because a feathered head would become splattered withe fluids and blood making it difficult to keep clean. It is a scavaginig bird feeding mostly on carcasseswhich it finds by sight or watching other vultures. They will on occassions attack young and weak living animals and raid the nests of other birds.
