I resently aquired a Sigma 70-300mm zoom lens. It's a great entry level lens and it has a macro function too. I edited it with Photoshop and cropped it. I used the timer to prevent camera shake. Was the low f/5.6 a good choice? |

Welcome to TN commnity with your 1st post entry of this bird shot with good exposure and focus sharpness, especially the reflection is nicely done on wter. Good tight crop and overall a pleasant capture of your subject.
Since you have a tripod, perhaps you could try f/10.
