Hi All,

Just back from a long trip at sea and now again 3 months of holidays,although I have made some new captures during this trip,I will start with a capture of my last trip to South Africa.

This scops owl is the smallest owl in the region,this particular one is already a few years hiding at the parking in front of the Satara restcamp and probably most people won't even notice it when passing,
He was resting at the time I passed by but was willing to say hi to a familiar photographer

Hey Paul,
Goed je weer heelhuids terug te zien.
Leuke foto van deze Afrikaanse Dwergooruil, Scops Owl, Otus senegalensis. Vooral dit laatste woord is aardig, omdat ik net een paar weken terug ben uit Senegal.
Mooie getekende veren en een nachtelijke atmosfeer met goed gebruik van de flits.
