Distribution and habitat
Endemic to southern Africa, occurring from southern Namibia and Botswana to central and western South Africa. It generally prefers riverine vegetation, such as riparian woodland along the Orange River, but it is also common in suburban gardens, in fact it is in the top 8 most common birds in Johannesburg.
It eats a variety of fruit and small animals, doing most of its foraging on the ground, flicking and scratching through leaf litter

Hi Bunyapon,
Wondeful capture. Spot on focus and nice eye contact with the bird. This looks a lot like our North American Robin. Nicely done and have a great weekend.

Excellent pose of the bird. Very well captured!
A beautiful composition with fine details and excellent sharpness. Colours are natural

Bonjour Bungbing,
La profondeur de champ ne me parait pas excellente pour apprécier pleinement la finesse des détails mais le sujet est tout de même très bien valorisé dans une bonne attitude.
A bientôt sur TN pour de nouvelles aventures.
