[Note Guidelines] Photographer's Note
One afternoon on a particularly quiet game drive, heading back to camp, I came across a lone raptor sitting at the top of a dead tree. Once I saw the golden afternoon sunlight striking the juvenile African Hawk Eagle, I got my camera out placed it on the beanbag and took a few frames.....

Hello Sheriff,

This picture is very hot. Hence stands out of the bracket of other photos of perching raptors. Pastel color effect. Good job.

Hello Sheriff,
a very stern and serious face is recorded here in 4xcellent sharpness.
The bird's feather is so clear and you have metered it very well.
Splendid job.

Regards,
Foozi

Nice one Sheriff Wilbury! Bravo ! I would rearrange slightly the composition and give a bit more space in the direction of the bird's sight ...

Hello Sheriff,
Nice photo in beautiful warm colours and good sharpness. I prefer a bit more space in front of the head of the bird, so on the rigth side in stead of the left side.
Regards,
Peter

Bonjour Sheriff,
Le cadrage me paraît un peu grand pour apprécier pleinement la finesse des détails mais le sujet est relativement bien valorisé dans une belle lumière.
A bientôt sur TN pour de nouvelles aventures.
Gérard

Hello Sheriff,
This must have made your day. Beautiful golden late afternoon hue and good definition. The bird is particularly well displayed in a very nice pose. Well done.

Hi Sheriff,
A Beautiful shot with the afternoon sun's rays actually enhances the contrast. Splendid detail, eye contact, POV against the perfect blue African sky. Well done my friend.
