[Note Guidelines] Photographer's Note
I found this Terrapin on its way back to the water after feeding on the green grass under the Mopani bushes at the Sable dam. It was interesting to get a close look at it and the claws facinated me. I was quite surprised to see it so far from the water as there is also a breeding pair of Fish Eagles that also prey on the terrapins.

I’ve placed so many notes before on the terrapins so I’m not going to place notes today.

Enjoy and comments are welcome.

Hi Natley,
A Beautiful shot of this Terrapin. Again complimented with pin sharpness. What struck me most is the clear eye detail, the claws and the sand on it's back. Your last two uploads puts you in a different league regarding photography! Keep up the good work and I can not wait to join you at the Sable dam one day!!

Hello Natley,
An interesting turtle-species which you show in a very natural manner and in a vivid pose. Amazing how they are perfectly adapted to surroundings in color.
Fine natural picture.
Kind regards

Hi Natley,
Color-wise a simple, almost monochrome photo, but the pose of the terrapin, the pleasant composition and the excellent sharpness make this image a very enjoyable one. Congratulations!
Best regards, László
