[Note Guidelines] Photographer's Note
The post-Gondwana African Erosion Surface represents a time when the continent was still at low elevation - Africa is the only continent that has a generally high elevation. Subsequent to upliftment the continent-wide peneplain has been dissected by rivers but it can still be clearly seen in many places.

Hi Neels, your pic is perfect to describe what you wrote in the note, very interesting post about the south african geological history....and a very nice wild landscape too,i like it! Happy New Year and thanks! Luciano

Hello Neels - I always like the way you show us the Geographical structure of South Africa. I like this picture too, the way you have given importance on foreground. Details and erosion is clearly seen here in the post-Gondwana land. Thanks for sharing. Regards - Srikumar

Hello Neels,
Is very nice scene, if the lighting a bit lower, will improve the overall picture, excellent details sharpness and nice natural colours,
Thanks for sharing and have a nice evening,
Best Regards,
Bungbing.

Hello Neels,
A nice landscape image taken from your unique region of the world. We can see two distinctively different types of large plants in the foreground with plenty of plain area behind and a low mountain range near the horizon. I am beginning to realize how diverse the terrain in Africa actually is through your images. TFS.
Ron

Looks like an escarpment leading to a valley in the distance. Reminds me of many tupical views from South Africa.
