|Kudu. (Tragelaphus strepsiceros.)|
Large elegant antelope with impressive horns. Females are smaller and do not have any horns.
Prefers open woodland and rocky terrain with water supply.
Browser of leaves, sprouts, pods of thorn trees and fresh grass.
In my opinion one of the most beautiful antelope of South Africa.
Also found in Namibia, Botswana, Zimbabwe and Mozambique.
This image was taken in the Addo Elephant National Park near Prt Elizabeth.
