[Note Guidelines] Photographer's Note
I have captured this couple of Red Headed Finch (Amadina erythrocephala) in our yard. I saw them sitting on the branch silently ! Not even talking ! Don't know what happened ! May be mood off ! It's better not to interfere on their family matter. So I left them alone just clicking two pictures. Not good time to disturb them with clicking sound of my toy.

Red Headed Finch is a common species found in Africa; mainly Angola, Botswana, Lesotho, Namibia, South Africa and Zimbabwe.

Male - Vibrant red head and white chest
Female - Duller
Habitat - Seen in small flocks on dry Savannah.

Hello Srikumar.
Not often do you find a pair sitting side by side like this, how neat. The focus on both birds is sharp, showing excellent detail and wonderful eye contact. The vertical framing worked out nicely in this instance. You were wise not to interfere, an outsider never wins in a domestic dispute:)

Hello Srikumar,
Excellent quality with very nice colors and sharp details. This birds are lovely staying together very close. I like the drawing of the feathers....

Hi Srikumar,
Thanks for provinding info for my bird ;)
Man, you are an outstanding bird photographer, you get them to pose nicely and capture them good, well done and thanks for sharing.
I would create a Rule of Thirds as workshop, I think would be very nice.

Hello Srikumar,
Very nice photo of this couple in superb sharpness and details. Beautiful natural colors. Gorgeous poses.
Have a good weekend,

Hi Sri,
What a cute couple and what a decisive moment! Hopefully they were able to chit-chat their problems from that time... In my opinion the composition's excellent this way, no need to crop to fit to rule of thirds as mentioned in one of the comments - anyway, from another viewpoint your photo fits to the rule, because the main subjects, the birds' heads, are in the upper third. But no, this image doesn't need to be vivisected, it's perfect as it is. Huge congratulations!
Kind regards from Ireland, László

Hi Srikumar,

The birds are well placed in the frame. The point of view is showing the details Red-Headed Finch couple. The good luminosity is enhancing the colors. Have a nice day.
