Red-Knobbed Coot (Adult)
|[Note Guidelines] Photographer's Note|
|I have captured this Red-Knobbed Coot at Rondebult Bird Sanctuary. Light was good but it was a challange to me to get perfect exposure on such dark black plumage as well as not over exposed such Whitish frontal shield. Although I have posted this species before but juvenile one. Juvenile one wasn't such deep black and knob and eyes weren't such deep red.|

A great shot of this fine looking Red-Knobbed Coot. The exposure looks great which is not easy with such a dark plumage and an all white bill. Love the bright eye and knob on its head. Super sharp while displaying excellent detail. It looks similar to our American Coots minus the red knob. TFS.

Hi Srikumar, perfect capture of this coot, dark plumage is always difficult but the light was the best, impressive sharpness and bright reflections too.Have a nice week and thanks,Luciano
The reflections on the water are assets to the composition. The point of view is showing the details of the Red-Knobbed Coot. The good luminosity is enhancing the beauty of the colors. Have a nice day.
very nice picture to see
good details good sharpness and lovely naturel colours
thanks gr lou
Not time at all to stay on TN in the last weeks.....
Nice image with amazing quality but I like most is the exceptional details of the feathers and the colors of the water with the brown reflection.....I find only once such a interesting reflection in the water at a pond near my home town....
Indeed it is a difficult task to show the brown-black colors of this shinning feathers....But you did a great job here.
Sorry for my English but I speak very rarely with somebody in this language and I probably make mistakes.....
Ciao Srikumar, great capture of beautiful bird, fantastic reflections, wonderful natural colors, perfect focus, fine details and splendid sharpness, very well done, my friend, have a good week end, ciao Silvio
