Goliath Heron

[Note Guidelines] Photographer's Note |
I have captured this world's largest 'Goliath Heron'(Ardennes Goliath) at Marievale Bird 🐦 Sanctuary, early in the morning.
☀ Light was good and in my favor ☺ because I don't like flat light on subject. It's really a big bird, so here I took this picture vertically ☺.
'Goliath Heron' looks almost like 'Purple Heron', although it's much bigger than Purple Heron and Purple Heron doesn't have black legs and feet.
You could find them in the Sub-Saharan Africa ☺ |

Hi Srikumar,i agree with you about what you think about the light, this one is perfect, especially for "dark" birds like that, while for me is a but difficult to manage for a white heron. So,the pic is amazing, what a pose, what a colors and what a sharpness too till on the grass, well done! Have a nice Sunday and thanks,Luciano
Hi Srikumar,
This isn't your best photo in my opinion, the vertical frame looks nice, but the image's too bright, lacking contrast and the crop isn't the best either. Again: in my opinion! I made a workshop to demonstrate my ideas, please have a look.
Kind regards from Ireland, László

Very nice and natural picture, also I like the composition.
Thank you for sharing it.
Saludos.
Hi Srikumar,
The bird is impressive and it is well placed in the frame. The point of view is showing the details of the Goliath Heron. The light is enhancing the beauty of the colors. Have a nice day.
