Hi Srikumar, the sharpness is good but not the best, while i like a lot the colors of background that are the same of the plumage, beautiful stonechat in a perfect pose. Have a nice evening and thanks,Luciano

Hi Srikumar,
no excuses needed for the use of a flash ! It's a good portrait of this little bird that I have seen -- in Alpine meadows. You teach us that there are Stonechats in South Africa! From Wikipedia I learned that the Eurasian population and that of South Africa have become separated with the drying out of the Sahara after the quaternary Ice ages. Thanks, Srikumar
Greetings, Dietrich
Hello Srikumar,
pretty portrait of this species. Composition remarkably well reduced to the essence of just three elements: 1- the bird, 2 - the piece of wood that it is sitting on, 3 - the tiny granule of food that may have attracted to bird. Nicely supporting distant background in the colours of desert or dry vegetation. Thank you!
With best regards,
Peter

Hi Sri,
Every beginning is difficult - but from now onwards, you'll use flash for almost every image you shoot. ☻ Seriously, you can reach a lot of various effects, even in macro photography, with flash, which you couldn't catch otherwise. So I see no problem with your flash usage. Backlight in the stonechat's eye is interesting, and the colors couldn't be better, I love your white balance here! I agree with Luciano that sharpness, at least on the frontal plumage, would have been a little better, but otherwise a stunning shot, excellent piece composition-, color- and light-wise each. Congratulations!
Kind regards from Ireland, László
