|Grey Heron (Aredea cinerea)|
I have captured this Grey Heron at Marieval Bird Sanctuary, early in the morning, just after Sunrise. This bird was sitting among the Reed beds and I had to chose a perfect point of view from where I could get at least a decent clear picture. Before click I often change exposure + to - to get proper exposure and hope here I managed to get proper depth.
Grey Heron is a wading bird and native throughout temperate Asia, Europe and part of Africa.

Hi Srikumar, another great capture in the morning light, but i prefere to do the same in a sunrise light, because i like to sleep a lot :-) . A perfect shot as usual, a common species in my country too, i have some pics of the grey heron but butterlies are my first choice for this website. Have a nice week and thanks,Luciano
Ciao Srikumar, great capture of lovely Heron in nice pose, wonderful natural colors, fine details and splendid sharpness, very well done, my friend, ciao Silvio
Rgerees are framing well the bird. The point of view is showing the details of the Grey Heron. The sharpness is very good. The light is bringing out the beauty of the colors. Have a nice day.
Nice shot. Probably not that sensational as the previous one I commented, but definitely a photo well worth praising. Interesting plumage colors, actually I've never seen it's so grey around the neck, although I photographed this species a few times also (but never in the morning light as I'm too lazy to wake up very early). Anyway, nice morning lights and effective composition, great sharpness on the bird. A wonderful piece from your artistic collection. Congratulations!
Kind regards from Ireland, László
