Hi Tim, definitely an Aloe of some kind. I like the composition and the colours are good. I think I would have gone for a larger apeture to emphasise the flowers more and blur the BG. I also think it could do with a little more USM - I notice in the note you sharpen then resize, it's better to resize then sharpen. Nice work.

Nice photo, with interesting motive. Good coloures and good POV.
