[Note Guidelines] Photographer's Note
This fruit/berry is called Noem-noem,(the smaller variety) fruit grows on large roundish evergreen bushes, flowers are white and starshaped,The fruit are protected by fierce thorns, fruit are bright red when ripe and grows in clusters of 2 or 3, this specific fruit was aprox 1.5cm in length, one eats the whole fruit it consists of a milky sweet flesh, pleasant to the taste with a little bitter undertone(no pip) Very pleasant to eat, eaten by small buck, monkeys, birds etc.

Miq, if I recall correctly the noem-noem is a Bushman name. (Sorry not Bushman the Khoi-san) The effect is eye catching. How did you do it? This is a nice set of wild fruit.

The bright red fruit in the middle of the picture certainly makes it stand out. Nature normally uses red to ward off or as a danger signal although here it seems to be to attract.
