Lions!
These youngsters were demonstrating just how easily and fast they can change from docile and "loving lick me, lick you" to "back off, you are irritating me" mode!!
Taken less than 2 metres away through the fence!
Hope you like the action!
RAW, I have started to do the editing in RAW mode with Raw Shooter 2006 and am still experimenting, so bear with my start up errors and please point them out to me, then brought over to PS2, final smart sharpen, resize to 800x600 and convert to jpg |

Excellent colors, and good view of the RH cub. I don't think that there's much for you to learn about using RAW - you seem to have it under control!
I like the tightness of the crop you have here. The color balance is nice, though there might be some unsharp areas on the snout and ear. I also would have prefered a slightly different POV - one where we could see the mouth of the foreground cat a bit more (maybe some teeth). Without the note, it looks like more of a loving scene. Hard to get the right POV with these guys probably, though. Nice job!
Hi Tim,
An excellent action shot. Amazing detail! That is one cat fight I would not want to try and breakup even as small as they still are. Outstanding capture!

Hello Tim , very nice action ,lovely nice shot ,good pov , i like it points later
nice avening , gr, Teunie .
Great shot Tim, for the intimate interaction of the two. I like the close crop/framing here. I wonder if you used flash? Remember that flash will always help to freeze the motion in an action shot. Anyway, Well done!

Tim, this is great.
I like composition and "poses". Great pov and lighting too.
I also enjoy details and sharpness.
