|A young male waterbuck. Only male waterbucks have horns and this fellow was proudly showing off his. Waterbucks are normally found grazing near water.|
They have a distingtive white ring on the rump and the local game wardens nicknamed them "toilet seat bucks".
The backlighting created an interesting frame with the long hair of the youngster been highlighted.
I took this photo at a waterhole between Orpen and Satara in the Kruger National Park, South Africa.

I think you did great with this beautiful waterbuck as it was taken in the wild. The backlight creates an interesting effect. Maybe a little noise in the BG and a bit soft on focus but in the wild, you cannot always set things as you whant! Well done with interesting notes. TFS,

It's nice how the light plays with the fur of the waterbuck. These are beautiful animals, I've seen them often while living in Kenya.
