Hi Paul,
this is a very nice woodpecker and nicely presented. The fresh green background and the brown stem make it a simple composition, which is nice. It bring the focus on the main subject. Well done, Jacob

Hi Paul, lucky capture, excellent work.

Nice shot of this beautiful bird, Paul!

bonjour paul
le pic vert est rarement presenté sur TN,merci pour ce partage.
il est legerement flou, une vitesse plus elevée aurait été souhaitée mais vous etiez deja a 400iso alors je supose que la lumiere etait insuffisante.

Hi Paul

Another very beautiful capture by you!
This cute woodpecker looks great and you managed to capture it in the middle of work...so it's a very nice action shot, too ;)
The colors here are wonderful throughout the entire frame - both the pattern of the woodpecker's feathers and the one of the BG are gorgeous - and the excellent contrast given also by the very good POV, between the bark and the bird on one hand and the bright BG on the other is really fantastic.
Great work!
Bravo and TFS

Hello Paul,
Interesting species of Woodpecker that I haven't seen before! Very nicely captured, good focus and it stands out very nicely against the plain background.
TFS, Ulla

Hi Paul,
This species of woodie is new to me. Though the bird was busy at the time you have managed a pretty sharp capture and made a fine comp. with good BG.
Well done!

Hello Paul,
This is a nice capture of this unusual woodpecker (for me)... He is very colorful and you caught him in a nice classical pose with good POV and composition. I think that details could have been a little sharper but it is still a good and interesting picture. Thanks,
