[Note Guidelines] Photographer's Note
I know that the human element in this landscape photograph detracts from the guidelines of TN.

It is however a stunning shot of two guys fishing at sunset on the Mzingazi Canal in Richardsbay

This photograph was also voted as the winning photograph in our recent club national e-salon.

A point of interest is that this shot was taken with a High End Compact Camera indicating that one is able to take winning photographs with less expensive equipment

Hi Greame,

I like the composition and the overall impact is great. The fact that there are people in the picture does nor distract. It actually provides a focus point and enhances the overall photo.

What filter did you use here?

Hi Graeme,
Nice Sunset view.

Hello Graeme.
Very nice shot, really like this composition that includes the fisherman in silhouette.
Great capture.

I second Willem! Without the human element, the picture would have appeared lifeless. With it, it looks complete.
Glad to know that you took THIS with a S5600.
