Very nice close up shot!!unusual pose I think its rotating 190 degree his neck :) to give you eye contact!!Nice details.

I have seen a black and white kingfisher for the first time in your picture, Paul.
Very interesting capture with the bird twisting its neck that far to look at you :-)!
