[Note Guidelines] Photographer's Note
The Spotted Hyena is a most interesting predator with a bad reputation. I agree that older Hyenas do not look very nice with their teared off ears and their scruffy coat, younger individual are very nicely spotted though and their behavior is very interesting and far from the ugly scavenger. Hello Tom,
interesting scene of the real wildlife. You have chosen a special framing that focuses attention on the action. We still want to know what is happening around (we can guess a vulture, we imagine that there are others waiting). It is a little frustrating, but the realization is impeccable.
I'd like to see a wider framing to complement this on.

照的很清晰 真是血淋淋的教訓
要照出這鏡頭的相片 我想也是很不容易
有真的要有那份心意 真是另類的主題

Grazie della condivisione.

Hi Tom,
Only if you have been there and witnessed a scene like this can you relate to the frenzy feeding and fighting for a share. Perfect clarity and detail captured in the Hyenas natural environment at a nice low POV. I presume that the spots in the right top corner are those ever present flies. Excellent work my friend and thanks for sharing.
Best regards,
In two and a half weeks I will go to the Kruger National Park for the long weekend. In May we will again be there for 7 days for my wife's birthday.

Hi Tom,
an impressive capture of the African "health police" at work. Your work is incredibly realistic, one can " hear " the crunching of the powerful jaws breaking up the bones.
I am adding this image to my theme "animals feeding". Thanks for sharing,
greetings from South Africa,
