We see almost never black and white photos on TrekNature. On some subjects, it seems impossible (eg butterflies), but I think others may make sense, either because the colors in the scene are not particularly pleasant, either because the result becomes more powerful or poetic.
To illustrate this, I post a picture of buffalo which I find to correspond to these two criteria. Your comments are very welcome!

Your right..black and white works out quite nicely in this instance. Love the fine detail and nice effect it has on this fearless looking Buffalo image. Great work!!
