|I continue presenting African Kingfishers from my honeymoon in Selous, Tanzania.|
Today It's the Malachite Kingfisher.
One of East Africa's most colorfull birds,
found along rivers and streams, coastal estuaries
Never sat still, I only managed to get three decent
pictures of it....but I'm quite happy with this one.
No cropping here, I like the backgrounds pale colors!

Hello Ronny, Awesome shot!!!
I must say this little African Kingfisher is simply gorgeous, it has such an array of contrasting colors in it's plumage. Outstanding detail and great DOF has been obtained.
