[Note Guidelines] Photographer's Note
My first Ostrich in the wild was this male Masai ostrich. Of the four species of ostrich in Africa this is the one that is most prevalent. I also learned from our guide that the males have the black plumage while the females are grey.

I photographed some females, but they were pretty far off. The quality is not very good so I will post it in a WS.

Hi Ron,nice capture of this male, the pic is a bit oversharpened and a bit noised too but no problem,i can see a perfect WS made in an excellent quality, well done! Have a nice day and thanks,Luciano

Hello Ron,
Amazing photo with high quality. The details, colors and focus are excellent.
I like the contrast against the background. Lovely natural colors.

This is huge bird, Ron. The natural habitat of the bird makes it a vvery authentic nature image from Tanzania.
The posture of the bird is quite elegant.
Another great image from your visit to Africa.

Hello Ron,
I can remembere your comment on my picture of Ostrich that one day you would like to capture that species. And now it's in your gallery.....
Well captured. I like winter colour of grass. Good details and perfect colour. You could get rid of this shadow Ares of black plumage easily.
Thanks for sharing,

Hi Ron,

The bird is well placed in the frame. The point of view is showing the details of the Ostrich. The good luminosity is bringing out the colors. Have a nice day.

Hi Ron,
Not a bad shot, however, the ostrich seems a bit oversharpened (especially the neck), while background's a bit noisy. A pity, as meeting an ostrich in the wild is a memory for lifetime.
Best regards, László
