[Note Guidelines] Photographer's Note |
I state that the photograph was taken from the bus, I apologize for the quality. During the journey to Tunis, it was a great surprise to find thousands of flamingos in the brackish areas surrounding the port area. Undoubtedly a paradise in danger due to the structures that were built nearby, and of course pollution. There even appears to be a project to drain the area to make new neighborhoods. We hope that the new president, very ecologist from what I heard from my Tunisian clients, will do something positive.

The caption and the NOT tells the whole story which is very sad, the cry of WHY recalls from each and every mouth and the Nation or People have solution for such crisis have no ear to listen, well shot.
Hi Luciano,
Very good post (photo + note) to raise awareness to the issue. And as a photo, I think it's very good, concerning the circumstances. Not overexposed, composed and cropped well (there aren't partially cropped birds, for example). Colors are a bit washed out, but overall the quality is much better than you expected, you don't need to apologize in my opinion. Thanks for sharing.
Kind regards from Ireland, László
Hello Luciano,
Keeping aside my personal view (man made things in nature picture), it looks nice. Showing their natural habitat. Well captured even such mobile condition.
Thanks for sharing,
Regards and have a nice weekend,
Srikumar
