|Purple Crested Turaco (Gallirex porphyreolophus)|
I had captured this beautiful pair of 'Purple Crested Turaco', National Bird of Swaziland 🇸🇿, at Kruger National Park, South Africa. Very difficult to capture them because rarely you could find them in bush or on the top of small tree. I have noticed they like big trees and they access top of the branches, a red ring around their eyes, and a black bill. Moreover, light wasn't in my favor, so I had to use flash a bit here.
This bird has a purple coloured Crest above a green head. The neck and chest are green and brown. The rest of the body is purple, with red flight feathers.
They live in moist woodland and evergreen forest.

Hi Srikumar, not lucky with this very difficult backlight and with the location too, with the blurred branch on the left. You caught the best from this very impossible situation,so we can see perfectly the couple of this beautiful turaco species, very well done! Have a nice Sunday and thanks,Luciano
Nice image with a colorful specie of birds. Despite the POV with the sun from behind, the colors and details are excellent.
Have a nice weekend.
You got a good eye contact with the birds. The point of view is showing the details of the Puple Crested Turaco couple. The colors of the bird are well shown except for the background, it seem the sky was overcast. Have a nice day.
Nice image with a colorful specie of birds. Never seen before.
