[Note Guidelines] Photographer's Note
The nature is stronger than the ruins. This picture, taken in the Angkor Wat area in Cambodia, shows how nature takes over the man made buildings. They are not as old as they look like, but the very hot and very humid climate destroys the buildings and the stones. The tree looks like a hand trying to hold the stone walls together.

Hi Monica. Excellent photo of this most strange place. Amazing way of nature taking back manmade buildings, even solid stone. Good clarity. TFS. Murray.

Hi Monica, this is a very powerful image of the jungle taking back its own, and you are just showing the roots and not the main trunk. This thing must be mammoth. The shot is very well composed. You've captured good shadow detail even in difficult lighting conditions.

Thanks, John
