A butterfly on a rock at Little Taiwan (Xiao Tai Wan) in Guizhou.

This was taken virtually at midday, however there was a lot of cloud and hze, so the lighting is still good.

Tech: USM, resize, sharpen, expand to add border.

Nice shot but it could have been a bit close.

Nice and sharp, focus and DOF spot on, beautiful colour range in this chap. I agree with Philip that it would be better if you "zoomed in" on the butterfly. If this is a full frame, you've certainly got pixels to spare even should you make a tighter crop ;-))

Great shot Walter! The BG supports the image well and the exposure is excllen, along with the sharpness.
