Yulong, also known as "Jade Dragon Snow Mountain", is near Lijiang in Yunnan province and the area below is the domain of the Naxi minority (there are more than 50 minority groups in China). Being very high and very cold, there is no vegetation, only bare rock, snow and ice. And a bit of blue sky.

Hi Neels,
You know, that I love mountains. I only amateur on this. My colleague is a member of team going now to Broad Peak (8047m). I think everything will be all right. Thanks for this post of much higher mountains that Tatras in Poland. Great sharpness. I like this natural colours. And of course I love this place.
Thanks for sharing.

Bravo Neels another spectacular shot of the impressive hills of the Jade Dragon Snow Mountain! What a gorgeous name! Stunning white balance, brilliant saturated colors, those charcoal colors of the rocks and the shadows around the edges are particularity appealing for the eye. In the Workshop I dared to offer you a different perspectives of the clouds. Great shot once again Neels. Bravo!

Hallo Neels
I have seen many of your beautiful photos and visited your portfolio a few times. This image is of high standard and indeed a stunning landscape shot. It is a splendid photo. I admire and appreciated talent when I see it, and you definitely have talent. It has a special feeling of awe that surrounds it. The light in the image is wonderful, and I do not agree with the colours in the workshop. Thanks for sharing. Best regards.

Hi Neels,
This is an excellent alpine landscape photo, well done! Best wishes, Pambos

Hello Neels,
I seldom see the snow filled mountain from China. This one is another beautiful capture from you. The rugged rock formation is exciting to see, and the dramatic clouds are special in giving the emphasis of the mountainscape.

Stunning landscape, the ridge leads your eye to the blue patch.
Nice work!

Hello Neels,
Interesting to see some mountain-pictures from China! This is rather seldom on this site.
Always pleasant to see a corner of blue in a cloudy sky, especially on the top of mountains. Very nice to have the white patches of snow too.
What a nice poetical name of mountain!
Kind regards

Hi Neels,
