[Note Guidelines] Photographer's Note
This photograph of Aquilegia (A. vulgaris?) was taken in Kunming which has a very mild climate and is world famous for its flowers. Occuring in the northern hemisphere, columbines grow at fairly high altitudes. Situated in the southwest of China at 1890 metres above sea level, the annual day temperature range at Kunming is between 15 and 25 degrees centigrade. The beautiful World Horticultural Expo Garden is a famous landmark and there are many other flower markets in the city.

Hello Neels,
Very lovely picture of beautiful pink Columbines. I like your vertical framing a lot. Perfect sharpness and excellent point of view chosen. The light-management was excellent too. Some of these Columbines grow on my alpine meadow, but mostly darker ones.
Kind regards
