[Note Guidelines] Photographer's Note
This is a very rare species which is called "Euthalia niepelti" and can't find its English name. I just came across it twice, once on the ground at the side of a bamboo wood, another time at a valley forest.
The most conspicuous marking is a blue curve band along the edge of the hindwings when its wings are open. There's no information in the Wikipedia.

Hi John,
A rare capture for sure, but in my opinion cropped too heavily, the photo is pixelated, the wings are too closed to the edge of the frame and the shadows are a bit too deep. Not your best shot, but full credit for sharing a - probably - new, rare species on TN. Thanks.
Best regards, László
