Hi Man Yee,
I like your shot, good composition and nice natural colours. What I would improve is the noise reduction and add sharpening the subject - please see my workshop, I hope you will like it. The white flowers are just a bit overexposed,
very good capture otherwise,
TFS & regards,
Tomasz

Hello Man Yee! That's fine macro shot, the light is fantastic and you've done agreatjob on the exposure, the details are sharp and the background is beautiful, well done, thanks!

Mario

You never cease to amaze me. Not only are you a talented photographer, but you do such wonderful work aside from the studies that I know your pour your heart and soul into.

Your time and dedication to both your studies and photography is stunning - and quite awe-inspiring.

Here you've captured texture, the fagility of the life, the colors, and a sense of life, however small this subject is.

Beautiful composition, clarity, and texture, not to mention, this really sets a mood. Beautiful job, my friend.

Bob is standing up so daintily on the flower.
Very good capture Man Yee - you should be thrilled with this image.
Well done

Hi Man Yee,

Its a lovely image of the skipper, the composition is good, only I felt the fore ground at the bottom could have been trimed or if you had better background it would have been still better. Never the less, good picture.TFS.

Hello Man Yee,
We have a little ID problem here!
You were right in calling this Skipper a Bob, but this is the Common Chestnut Bob (Lambrix salsala) that you captured with fine sharpness and from a great POV to show the markings clearly. Not Suastus gremius!
I think I would have chosen a more horizontal composition as the flower that it is on is mostly OOF and of less importance.
Nevertheless, a fine image and thanks for sharing it!
Cheers,
Ivan

Hello Man Yee,
A very beautiful and fine picture to show us this Asian Skipper. The focus is just right on the butterfly and you managed to have a very subtle-coloured background. May be you could have cut just a little bit on the lower part of the picture, but in general I like rather generous surroundings.
Thanks and best regards
Anne
