Taken in the tropical Menglun Botanical Garden 80 Km from Jinghong, the capital city of Xishuangbanna, near the border with Laos and Vietnam. Established in 1959, the sanctuary is 940 hectares in size and has more than 4000 (some sources say 6000) species of plants from China and elsewhere. It accommodates a botanical research centre and is absolute paradise for all lovers of nature.

Hello Neels,
I think we have this specie in Malaysia. if not mistaken it is called Indian rose. Beautiful clusters in pinks and purples.
i like the superb sharpness in excellent green blurry background.
