During our trek to Sandakphu - Phalut we got it. It is near Kalipokhri. The whole area is under Singalila National Park. This flower is small in size and part of a small shrub. The violet colour of this flower or cluster of flowers attracts me that time. Now I am sharing it with you. Hope you'll like it. Also hope some of you can give some data about this beautiful flower.

Looks like a Primula to me, Subhendu. It grows at that altitude. Just do a check on Wiki. The image is beautful with rich colours and details on petals.
I trekked from Darjeeling to Sandakphu way back in the winter of 1964-65 while doing the 4th Adventure Course from HMI. I was 17 then. How old are you?
All the best and thanks for sharing this beauty.

Details and composition are super.

Hello Subhendu
What a pretty purple flower you captured. I agree that it may be in the Primula family. It's great to see in it growing in it's natural environment. I wonder if it has powdery mildew, the white looking powder on the top of the bloom.
