i found this Lemon Emigrant butterfly (Catopsilia pomona) in Lataguri during my visit to Garumara Forest, a few months back. it was getting dark, and i was roaming around in the tea-garden and the jungle near by, while waiting for our turn to enter the reserve forest. it was a nice experience to walk through the woods alone... found many birds... but couldn't continue as i was being called soon and had to leave.

Lemon Emigrant butterfly (or simply, the Common Emigrant butterfly) is a medium sized butterfly from the family 'Pieridae'. they are found in Asia and Australia. these butterflies can be characterized by their energetic and rapid 'jumping' flight maneuvers.

other different forms of Lemon Emigrant butterflies are:
catopsilia alcmeone
catopsilia crocale
catopsilia jugurtha
catopsilia hilaria
catopsilia catilla

Hello Ruby...Good day!
Well,.....hm.... OK..let me be restrain my appetite to present another brutally honest comment, ehh hhh..!;) ...but honestly this otherwise wonderful image in terms of composition has been destroyed by the lack of sufficient light...don't you think? It may present the things as they are, naturally but the image is simply looking too dark my friend! On top of that your workshop is locked ...a trend I can not understand in Treknature! The white balance .... jee ...it's too dark ...can not see! Why you did not use the fill in flash here Ruby? Hm .... just a bit of disappointment once again!
But hey ...tomorrow is another day! lets the Sun shine!
Regards,
George Veltchev

Hello Ruby,it`s a shame that you under exposed this nicely composed shot, something you could have put right in your CS 5 I feel sure.Even so the markings are nicely apparent.
