Yes.... Again on the day of Holi and again, in the Chintamani Kar Bird Sanctuary... Some of them were there and they were simply glowing under Sun. Gorgeous orange in colour with dark lines.

This is the photograph of an Angled Castor butterfly (Ariadne ariadne).

This butterfly looks quite similar to the Common Castor butterfly (Ariadne merione), but in case of this butterfly, the transverse chestnut bands are narrower and less diffuse.

Nice capture of Angled Castor with its wings spread open, Ruby. It certainly differs from Common Castor.
Sharp focus and rich colours. The overall green background enhances the appeal of the subject.

Ciao Ruby, greatt macro of fantastic butterfly, wonderful natural colors, splendid light and excellent sharpness, very well done, my friend, ciao Silvio

Ruby Sarkar .....you did it again! Do not want to dispute the Green colors here....they looks insignificant before that beauty in Orange or rather assist in a way! What a mostly like is the precise depth here. Brilliant depth in fact Ruby Sarkar, the space around the butterfly wings seems empty like a frame from a real 3D world. Love it!

Hello Ruby,
What a gorgeous color for a butterfly.. and those wing markings are so unique in appearance. Love the way their edges have that pretty scalloped look to them. A real beauty and captured in fine detail. Well done!!

It has a beautiful color contrasting with the green of the plant. Congratulation Ruby. Un saludo.
