[Note Guidelines] Photographer's Note
This is a Common Tiger or Danaus genutia, is one of the common butterflies of India. It belongs to the "Crows and Tigers", that is, the danainae group of the Brush-footed butterflies family. The butterfly is also called Striped Tiger in India to differentiate it from the equally common Plain Tiger Danaus chrysippus.

Thanks :)

Hello Joyded,
Thanks for visiting my gallery. This is a very nice specie of butterfly, wish I meet one some day in the wild.....Despite the damaged wings it is still a lovely butterfly. Excellent clarity as usual.

View this butterfly exhausted, with his wings as torn flags made me think about myself after a tough 2013, both in work and personally ... This Danaus genutia, so beautifully portrayed by you, Joy; should not feel alone, many humans are like her.
