[Note Guidelines] Photographer's Note
The Oriental Magpie-Robin (Copsychus saularis) is a small passerine bird that was formerly classed as a member of the thrush family Turdidae, but now considered an Old World flycatcher. They are distinctive black and white birds with a long tail that is held upright as they forage on the ground or perch conspicuously. Occurring across most of the Indian Subcontinent and parts of Southeast Asia, they are common birds in urban gardens as well as forests. They are particularly well known for their songs and were once popular as cagebirds. The Oriental Magpie-Robin is national bird for Bangladesh.

Hi Biswarup,
Nice capture of this Oriental Magpie-Robin.
Good details and sharpness.Nice color and timing.
Nice point of view.Thank you for sharing.

Hello Biswarup,

Hope you are well. This is a fine shot of this beautiful Oriental magpie Robin, a very common and elegant bird of our region. And once again brother you have not used a software to correct the light and contrasts in this photo which would have benefited you and the photo a lot, just a two pennies' worth of humble suggestion. TFS, take care,

warm regards/Abid

Beautiful picture of the male of the species, Biswarup.
The side posture looks elegant and the catch-light in the eye of the bird is excellent.

Bonjour Biswarup,
Très belle valorisation du sujet par l'appréciation de la finesse des détails et de la délicatesse des couleurs.
A bientôt sur TN pour de nouvelles aventures.

Hello Biswarup,
The name seems to fit this bird quite well. I can definitely see the body resemblance to the Magpies in our western states, while the head and facial featured remind me of our American Robins here in Ohio. Nice eye contact with that ever sought after catchlight.

Beautiful blue you've captured the plumage of this Copsychus saularis, the background in light colors contrasting with the dark feathers of the bird. Congratulations, Biswarup.

A big hug!

Hi Biswarup!
Nice, clean shot of this Robin in an attractive pose. A little noise removal from BG would have improved this good shot. I can also see some bluish tinge on black which occurs most of the times when light conditions are not good. I like the catch-light in the visible eye. Overall, its a fine composition,
Thanks for sharing,
Best Regards,
