My native place is in a valley below Lesser Himalayas. I visited it last year in May and toured around by car.
This is a view of the Pir Panjal range as seen through the car windscreen. Hope you like it.

The Lower Himalayan Range (also known as the Lesser Himalayan Range or Mahabharat Range) lies north of the Sub-Himalayan Range or Siwalik Range and south of the Great Himalayas. The height of the mountains varies between 1800 to 4600 meters. Millions of years of folding, faulting and overthrusting has led to the formation of these mountains. They are a part of the three ranges that traverse from East to West in the Himalayas.

Hello Ram,
that scenery instantly makes me feel at home as it strongly resembles some valleys of the Central Alps of Austria. I like the way the image is captured through a car's windscreen. That is a good way of telling a very personal story of appraching home on rough and winding roads high up into the cool mountains. Thank you!
With best regards,
Peter
