A sunset captured in McLeod Ganj (Himanchal)on a very cold evening in December. No credit to the photographer or the camera except for being at the right place at the right time .... Nature at it's best.

Great composition, Kirti. TFS.

Hi Kirti, I love the colours on this picture, I have done a Workshop on this image let me know what you think of it...

Hi Kirti!

Welcome to TN, as I see you have the eyes for seeing the beauties of nature! You probably noticed on webphoto's workshop that the picture needed some noise removal. The other thing I would add is the horizon is rotated, and I would crop the branch from the bottom left off. Keep on trying, and don't forget that in the digital age post processing is just as important than in the analog times. If you won't spend on software try the gimp, it is free and is very useful.
Once again I'd like to encourage you to take shots of Mother Nature, I'm sure you'll get the help for the technical part on this site as you already have the talent for photographing!
If you have any question please feel free to ask!

Best regards,

Welcome to TN, Kirti.
Your picture is a beautiful collage of colours in the winter sky at sunset.
Though there is noise in the picture, I still like it as it is. As you can notice, 'webphoto's workshop has removed the noise but has also flattened all details.
Noise removing softwares normally do that damage regularly and should be used sparingly. Use camera settings in such a way that the original picture does not have noise in it.
I have pictures taken at Dharamsala but they were taken during the monsoons. Your colourful winter sky is a novelty for me.
Keep shooting and all the best.

Wonderful color of the sunset. Try to have something in the foreground to make it more interesting, like a tree, or plant, any object to enhance your composition.

Hi Kirti

Beautiful colors! I suppose winter and the consequent oblique sun tends to show up these lovely moments in the sky. The texture in the picture is also amazing, with a lovely 3d feel to the clouds.

TFS and Welcome to TN
