[Note Guidelines] Photographer's Note
I took this picture of a wild Raspberry in the forest above McLeodganj monastery in Dharamsala at an altitude of about 6000 ft. this May.
I remember my school days in my mountain village in the early fifties when we would feast on these berries on our way to the school in summers. I controlled my temptation to eat this one before taking its picture :).

A Brief Note from Wikipedia

The raspberry is the edible fruit of a multitude of plant species in the genus Rubus, most of which are in the subgenus Idaeobatus; the name also applies to these plants themselves. Raspberries are perennial. The name originally referred to the European species Rubus idaeus (with red fruit), and is still used as its standard English name.

Thanks for looking.

Hallo Ram
Yum-yum these berries sure do look delicious, and the tropical colours makes them look even tastier. You have captured these fruits, deep and rich colour with great clarity and sharpness. The detail is great and the "golden" threads in between are so beautiful and eye-catching. A very festive image. I love all kinds of fruit and these surely looks delicious. Thanks for sharing. Best regards.

A mouth-watering image Ram!
The berry of this wild species of Rubus looks juicy and tasty with a fine combination of orange and red that contrasts nicely with the OOF BG foliage and stem in a pleasing composition.
I bet you evoked your boyhood memories further by eating it after you took this picture. I would!
Thanks and all the best,

Ciao Ram, lovely wild fruit with fantastic bright colors, splendid sharpness and good details, very well done my friend, ciao Silvio

Hello Ram,
It is amazing how things like this raspberry bring back memories of childhood..very often associated with taste or smell(like the famous Madeleine of the french writer Proust). Your raspberries have another color as ours which are more pinkish. Good chosen decentred composition.
Bon appétit!
Kind regards
