Last Saturday we saw some rain at JCNP, the pre-monsoons, but overall it's been a very hot summer...as was the next day. And these huge animals had a lot of fun in barely five minutes, that they spent in this river (they were obviously en route to some other place), the little ones not wanting to leave the water!
BTW, this herd, is again in multiples of three, if you choose to count!

Thanks for stopping by!

Since there are few to chronicle this area and this subject, I suggest you continue on with this series..All images are enlightening and together make a lesson...when your done with the series, if ever since nobody really is finished, then you can cull out what some like and what some didn't and then make it a chapter in your book! Best to you sis!

whats there with multiples of 3 goldy? I love this picture for the was you have depicted the habitat and the nature of these gentle giants, continue ur quest.

Hi Goldy,

Another superb image, showing these wonderful creatures in their natural environment. I can almost hear the water running over the rocks and the noise of the heard as it moves off, excellent work, and as for the book put me down for a copy :)

Cheers Rick .....

Hi Goldy,

Youre lucky with all these Elephants in your country.

Hi Bro, a delightful scene of these pretty elephant famiy with wonderful composition.
TFS and cheers MF!

Very impressive point of view, Goldy.
The image gives the impression as if you have shot these elephants in some wild life sanctuary in Africa.
However, it is our own India and looking at these healthy and happy animals gives me a sense of pride and pleasure.
Well done and TFS.

Hi Goldy. As you say they were heading for somewhere else. I like you POV from the higher groundloooking down on the Elepants. The little one second from the left looks like its dancing. A good compostion and natural colours.

Hello Goldy,
Your POV has allowed you to choose a fine composition, the path this herd of elephants use to the water making a fine diagonal. The composition is further enhanced by the timing and mixture of different ages. Great lighting and colours too.
A fine shot my friend,
Thanks and all the best,

Ciao Goldy, amazing capture of a lot of elephas, splendid composition, very well done, ciao Silvio

Hi Goldy,
A nice capture of this beautiful herd of elephants. Excellent composition and sharp details. Thanks a lot for sharing.

Realmente es una toma impresionante Goldy, y más para los que nunca hemos visto al natural una escena de grandes animales salvajes. TN nos permite disfrutar de estas escenas. Gracias por compartir la fotografía.
Saludos: Josep Ignasi.

Thanks Goldy for all you interesting elephant series. Stunning details here and very good light.

Hi Goldy,

It must have been so wonderful watching this herd of elephants. An excellent shot as they begin their march from the river. Fantastic sharpness, details, and natural colors. I love the tiny one behind the parents. It looks like a couple are staying in the water as long as they can.

Hi Goldy.
What an amazing scene you managed to catch. I love it. Composition of a picture created by animals is superb as well as framing of the place and selected POV. I am also amazed with ultimate sharpness of the entire image, wonderful natural colours. All is perfect. Bravo.

Hello Goldy,
A somewhat different view of elephants but it's very attractive indeed! I like the light and the composition and you have them all nicely in focus. I wonder where they're off to now? The little ones look lovely!
TFS and kind regards, Ulla
