[Note Guidelines] Photographer's Note
Tucked well inside north Sikkim, this little known Himalayan valley breaks into a profusion of alpine flowers like rhododendrons, primulas etc. during April and May. This is the view when you cross Shingba Rhododendron Sanctuary. The road actually keeps you spellbound.

The Shingba Rhododendron Sanctuary lies midway on the road between Lachung and Yumthang. It is bounded on its southern border by the Yakchey La, on the northern border by the Yumthang Valley, on the east by the Chuba-Sagochen mountain ranges and on the west by part of Chomzomei Tso extending up to Lava pass. The Yumthang Chhu (river) flows through the sanctuary. Shingba is renowned for its unique abundance of rhododendron trees and shrubs.

Hi Subhash !
Interesting and beautiful scenery.
Colors are excellent and contrast their very nice.
The description that you provided is also very good.
A beautiful day,
Adrian

A fine scene indeed Subhash, which shows a rich botanical diversity. The majestic peaks disappearing among clouds enhance the view greatly. TFS this nice naturescape with good depth my friend.

Hi Subhash,

I want to be on that road and see this scene for myself!! It is beautiful. Really, it looks like a fine painting. Beautiful colors and magnificent composition.

Jane

Every new shot of your shows improvement, Ranjan!
I love the sharp FG vis-a-vis the slightly blurred BG!
Very well done!
Cheers!
Goldy
PS:Sorry, I've been away for a very long time

Hy Subhash
Another mountain landscape, well presented. I think that I can understand the bonsai art, locking at your picture. Those siloueths and the mountains from the BG are giving to the picture a plus. I would say, it is a dreaming landscape!
Regards, Oana

This looks like road to Heaven Subhash, very nice image of the mountains, aptly composed.tfs
