A tall herbaceous perennial. Laves 3-pinnate, leaflets ovate. Flowers pink, large and impressive. Forest clearings, the plants were found at the edges of a peculiar mixed low alpine forest, 3300m above sea level. The trees were a mix of rhododendrons, junipers and maples.
