This picture was taken a month back at Thoppur. The red Dragonflies are common and there were a number of them at the Thoppur Herbal Park. I used focus stacking from 3 consecutive shots with different focaL PLANES to increase the depth of field.

great shot with perfect sharpness on the dragonfly.
Colors and composition are great. I love the contrast of the red dragonfly and the blurred green background.
this dragon seems to glow - the red colour is wonderful. Also the light and the good sharpness, thanks

Hello Murali, that's a fine macro ! The details and sharpness are great, the background makes the insect stand out perfectly and the light and exposure are very good. Thanks.
Finally i'm getting time to have a look at the pictures here. The colors are excellent and the lighting is superb.
Excellent lighting and composition. You have mastered the focus stacking technique to a very high level, impeccable job. Would love to see a large print of it. TFS
