|[Note Guidelines] Photographer's Note|
I am posting this picture from my archives. This picture was taken at Thoppur Ghats. Myself and my son drove to Thoppur from Mettur on an October morning to take butterfly pictures. After completing the session, we returned to our car and were about to start when we noticed this family on the road-side. I had only the 180mm lens fitted on my camera at that time. I managed to fit the family into a tight frame.
Macaque monkeys generally plunder around. On one occasion they entered my car through one of the open windows and ransacked all the food in the car. They are generally not very friendly but have learned to live close to human beings.

Good DOF. Nice interaction or communication, whatever...

What a great family scene you have caught, Murali.
An excellent composition with many poses and states of mind.
I like how each of the monkeys is in his or her own little world.
TFS. : )
