|Nymphaea lotus, the Tiger Lotus, White lotus or Egyptian White Water-lily, is a flowering plant of the family Nymphaeaceae.|
This species of water lily has lily pads which float on the water, and blossoms which rise above the water.
It is a perennial, grows to 45 cm in height. The color of the flower is white and sometimes tinged with pink.

lotus is really beautiful irrespective of its colors. This species is really dynamic and mythical. These are seats of numerous Hindu Gods and Goddesses. Really loved your composition.
Beautiful flower with fine details and clarity.I can see 3 little insects/ flies on petals :). Background which is water in this case looks little grainy ( noisy). You can remove this noise easily by any photo editing software to enhance the quality of your shots
