Wonderful first butterfly shot. Isn't it an amazing feeling when you first upload one of these. I was so intrigued by the details that the camera captures but we tend to miss in day to day observation.

Great colors! Brilliant and bold. Good composition.

Hello Mayuresh,
This is a pleasant composition, and a good point of view gives a fine background for the insect!
Good patterns and attractive bright colours...
Well done on the close-up!
Greetings,
Pablo -

Hello Mayuresh,
you captured the butterfly very well. The wing pattern is nicely shown in its natural colours. A slightly different point of view would have been advantageous to achieve even better focus on the front parts of the specimen and to see both antennae completely (just a little more from below and a liitle more to the right).
The species is
- Graphium doson
- family: Papilionidae
Best wishes, Peter

Hi Mayuresh,
This is a very difficult butterfly to capture and considering that it is your first shot, it is a fabulous effort. It indeed is Common Jay (Graphium doson). Hope to see many more beauties now that you have let yourself loose. Lovely colours and sharp details here. Perfect lighting and the exposure is superb. Excellent POV to portray this fine pose and very nicely composed. Kudos.
TFS.

Hello Mayuresh,
For your first butterfly shot this is very fine! The composition is excellent, the background is soft and beautiful and details are sharp. With more light the colours would have been brighter but even so, very well done!
TFS and best wishes, Ulla

Excelentes colores los de esta mariposa y mi enhorabuena por tan bonito trabajo.

Wonderful. I hop it is identified. My luck is only twice with butterflies. Very good at your first!

Hello Mayuresh,
Excellent first butterfly shot with good technical qualities that would pass for a shot made by a more experienced buttery photographer. Good composition but the Common Jay is slightly underexposed, the rose having the correct exposure.
Well done and thanks for sharing.
Look forward to more butterfly shots from you.
Ivan
