Butia monosperma is known as the flame of the forest or locally called Palash. The tree shed all its leaves & adorns itself in these beautifull striking saffron coloured flowers.

Hi Ali,
I can well understand why it is called "Flame of the Forest" with its flame shaped orange petals.A good POV giving a full display of the flower.Nice natural colours.
Regards, David

this is very beautiful, it will be nice to see also the whole tree, TFS Ori
